THE CIRCLE OF SERVICE
HEALTHCARE
That works when you need it. Including women’s health, Medicaid, and preventive care.
Healthcare shouldn’t push families into crisis — it should keep them well and working. Too many District 99 residents rely on Medicaid, women’s health services, and preventive care to stay healthy and stay in the workforce.

LIVING WAGES
So families can afford to work and stay in District 99.
Work should pay enough to cover housing, food, healthcare, and childcare. When wages and childcare costs don’t match reality, families are forced into impossible choices.
A Circle of Service that supports working families. Learn More
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
And protections for long-term residents so families aren't pushed out.
Rising taxes, housing costs, and energy costs are pushing families out of the communities they helped build. Neighborhoods thrive when residents can stay rooted.

VETERANS CARE
That honors service when Active Service ends. Because service deserves lifelong support.
Strong communities do not turn their backs on the people who served them. Veterans should never be left waiting for care after serving our country.

MEET VELERIA
Experienced Leadership
Veleria M. Levy is a nonprofit leader, health equity advocate, and community servant who believes public office begins with one simple practice: you lead best when you're accountable to the people you serve. Her campaign for NC House District 99 is built on a Circle of Service — showing up, listening, delivering, and inviting the community to "Check Levy" when something isn't right. She believes leadership is a shared responsibility, and strong representation requires transparency, humility, and community partnership.
As a mother, legal scholar, and longtime voice for Black and Brown communities across North Carolina, Veleria has dedicated her career to helping families navigate systems that too often overlook them. She has led statewide health equity work, strengthened community organizations, and built coalitions grounded in dignity, access, and opportunity.
